Began a digital compendium of my collected notes on Buddhism, gathered quotes, journal and poetry entries, and miscellaneous religious studies. It’s going to be divined in the same vein as “Some of the Dharma” by my beloved beatnik Jack Kerouac. That novel is a recent favorite of mine and has inspired and influenced me incomparably. My “Womb of Buddhism” compendium will someday be published far into the future~ imageee

Tallied it up and I have 24 regularly referenced journals, 40+ journals total, 12 physical and digital archives, and 26 different medium art supplies. I don’t even want to get started on how many work-in-progress projects I have. (Just ADHD things) On top of that I have 7 books I have already published. And yes, I have a study/studio dedicated to it all. Can you tell im a creative-obsessive and devout artist and writer? I’m only a hoarder of art supplies and vintage things I swear. My house is nowhere near as overwhelming as my study… thank god.

Began a new journal, feat a collage I did~ “I am sprouting out of the gravesite of suffering, I sacrifice the greatest taboo for the comfort of domestication. I am no longer the woman I once was, though I pay tribute to her memory.”

I’ve finally come to the decision that I will only be self-publishing. As far as I have witnessed and heard, trad-publishing is an extremely picky, clique-ish and gatekeeping industry that wants to follow a “formula” for the books they choose instead of taking on risks with potential new classics. I’ve seen and heard horror stories. I want my book-children’s fate to be in my hands, and I dont want to bend to the market and what people think will sell. It will be a hard move, but nowhere near as hard as continuously dealing with rejections that talk about my books marketability vs its soul. (Yes, i’m bitter.) imageee

being on social media is like scrolling through a wasteland of ego, conflict and projection, and rarely, every now and then you receive a piece of wisdom and kindness. it makes it so clear how that is effecting the masses mentally imageee
